This page follows the development of a litter born 2009.

Sphynx babies are very vlunerable, due to  their inability to keep warm

Their eyes open around the 7th day.

They now start to become animated. Moment and learning about their environment is now obvious.

The kittens maybe trying some wet food or biscuits. They want human company now and want to venture away from their Mummy.

Personality and will, creates them into individuals now. They become 'detached' of their mother . She may no longer feed them to sustain their intake.

They will now use a litter tray, feed and groom themselves. Naughty and fun is what springs to mind to  mind   at   this   age  ! ! !

Play and growth is the process now. They would have just been wormed and other than establishing 'their' routine growth and fitness is  key.

Their world is now 3 dimensional. They are also discovering their bonds with people.

They are now little kittens and no longer baby cats. They will have the forst of their inoculations at 9 weeks (second being at 12 weeks). They are independant now and very nearly ready for me to say good buy. Its a tough thing to do but I know ultimatly its for their best x
